CRUSADE’s association with the RORC goes back to 1969, the year she was built, and the year in which she so very nearly won the Fastnet.
There followed years of regular RORC racing before a change in ownership took her away from the racing scene in the UK.
But now she’s back and raring to go.
Following a major refit in 2021/22, and with a new carbon rig and an equally new suit of North race sails, CRUSADE is back on the race course and achieving regular podium finishes.
And following a highly successful offshore season in 2025, CRUSADE is once again available for offshore race charter in 2026.
This presents a unique opportunity for teams wanting to put together a campaign for one or more races in 2026, and who want to sail offshore on a strong, safe, fast and comfortable yacht whose sail wardrobe and rating have been optimised to ensure that she is racing as competitively as possible.
Whether you’re interested in short races like the Morgan Cup, cross channel racing to Le Havre or St Malo, or the iconic 1800 mile Round Britain & Ireland race, we can tailor individual packages that include training weekends and the opportunity for a family cruise to or from the start/finish of events such as Round Ireland and St Malo.
So if you’re an established sailing team looking to charter the whole boat with just an owner’s rep, or an individual looking for a berth on any of these races, let’s have a chat.
We’ll do all we can to provide what you’re looking for.
